The birth of Pulse Jet Ignition

There's various ways to prove a product but rather than just doing another static test we've tested this product on the race tracks and let us tell you the impact is amazing.

We've won a lot of races with the extra oomph we got from the Pulse-Jet Ignition. The impact is throughout the rev range whilst not using extra fuel. The overall temperatures were lower and it also meant we didn't have to build the engines on the limits that it would last a race or two. Now we had a more reliable engine with better performance and lets not forget efficient burn meant the exhaust gases are a lot cleaner.

After 10 years of testing on the tracks we've finally perfected it.

We however did do some tests on the dyno using factory spec BMW

The Dyno curve on the right is that of a stock BMW R75/7 1978, the blue lines are power and torque with standard spark plugs, the red lines are with the Pulse-Jet Ignition inserts fitted, we achieved roughly a 10% increase in power and torque. No other modifications were made.

However, with further modifications we've achieved almost 20% increase in power as show on the Dyno chart below on a BMW 980cc race engine.

Pulse Jet just lends itself to engine tuning and helps increase performance without increasing the fuel consumption.

So, to summarise here's some of the advantages of using Pulse Jet:

  • Improved efficiency and performance, typically 10%.

  • Reduced emissions/improved economy.

  • Lower E.G.T.'s, thus reducing exhaust valve seat recession.

  • Easy to retro-fit, simple as changing your spark plugs. (might need to retard the ignition 2/3 degrees if there's pinking)

  • Reduced part throttle surge.

  • Lends itself to further engine tuning due to removal of 'hot spots' from combustion chamber

  • Overall, a great product to keep your engine running smooth and efficient, increasing the life of the bike.
